Hey all. I'm staying in canada this week and upgraded to the international pkg for data. However, I've been using gps to get around canada during my stay. Is tapping into gps something that would be included in the intl pkg (forgot to ask) or is gps just a global service separate from versions data/voice coverage so it wouldn't matter anyway? Thx.

Use of GPSs is Free. You pay for that with your taxes.

Google Maps may incurr a data roamimg fee. Not sure about that.

I would think if you have the int'l data plan, you should be ok.

Best to call Verizon and ask.

Data would be the only cost. You should be good since you got the international package.

To be safe call 611 and ask about your plan. Find out BEFORE you go. :)
