With these new Nexus products, Google has launched their "Be Together. Not the same." marketing campaign. It's a nice way to tie people emotionally to the brand, and it could be easily argued that mobile products allow us to connect in new and different ways. The video above teases this new "vision" from Google, and although it isn't directly related to the new Nexus 9 tablet, it's worth a watch.

Google's latest Android tablet, the Nexus 9, is an HTC made product, and its soft aluminum finish exemplifies that. While Google didn't share all the details regarding the new Android Lollipop tablet, they did give a brief summary. Here's the quote,

"Next, a new tablet built in partnership with HTC. Nexus 9, with brushed metal sides and 8.9-inch screen, is small enough to easily carry around in one hand, yet big enough to work on. And since more and more people want to have the same simple experience they have on their tablets when they have to do real work, we designed a keyboard folio that magnetically attaches to the Nexus 9, folds into two different angles and rests securely on your lap like a laptop."

From all the leaks and intel we have received over the past few months, we are confident that the specs of this device will be as "premium" as you can get in a tablet. Sound off and let us know what you think of Google's newest Android tablet.

Quite frankly I fail to see the need for tablets now that phones are approaching their size and most apps can be streamed to tv from phone. You can do everything on the phone that you can on a tablet but you can't do everything on the tablet that you can on the phone.
