Is their a way to use google wallet with the Bionic? I know it doesnt have that beam technology like the new ICS phones but do we have some app to use or something for the store with Gwallet technology to maybe scan?

Google Wallet requires an NFC chip, which the Bionic lacks. So the answer is no.

with google wallet you can put your credit or debit cards into your phone (basically if you get anything from the android market your card number is already saved in it) and at certain stores like duane reade for instance allows you to swipe your phone over an area where you would usually swipe your card and the machine picks up your card number and voila you paid for your purchase. to bad bionic came out a little to early to be able to do it.

Duane reade might be the only store that accepts this at this point and possibly just a handful of them. This technology is not gonna hit mainstream for at least a year i wouldnt sweat it.

There is supposedly a company that makes SD Cards that have NFC built in that will give any phone the capability to use NFC... But last I heard the cards were only 2 gigs...

I posted about this several months ago. There are at least two companies doing it, and the cards I saw were 8GB, Netcom and DeviceFidelity (links below).

One announced as long ago as February 2010, thought it wasn't ready for production and the Android app hasn't yet been written to support it.

As recent as December 2010, Device Fidelity and Visa teamed up and announced their NFC pay system.

Gas stations, MC Donalds, all sorts of stores take it in the Milwaukee area, and I've heard some batteries were coming out with the NFC chip as well. Don't be surprised if most phones get the capability soon, there's money to be made, just like in debit cards.....
