I have never added fund to the prepaid card but i want to now. Is there a credit card fee? similar to a cash advance fee? Or does it appear as a regular charge on your credit card? I am not sure how this works.

It just shows up as a regular charge on your credit card, no extra fees at all. The only "catch" is that minimum you can add is $20...no less.

On a related note...one of the local convenience store chains just got rid of their tap-to-pay devices. Boo. The only place I've been able to use wallet now is McDonald's.

Verification of your SSN

Another thing to note is that after you reload it more than 3 times, it makes you verify your identity by submitting your SSN and some other info before adding more funds. I lost out on a couple of bucks I had on it, but I also got the free $10 when I signed up, so I guess it evens out.
