I have a Google Voice number and was thinking about using it on my Droid. My questions are simple. If I use the Google Voice app will I still be able to use my Verizon number like normal but with the ablility to use my GV number when I want? Can I set certain numbers to go to GV and others to go to Verizon?

Yes, it's possible.

Yup -- look in the GV app settings. Specifically, "Making Calls". You can't assign contacts to one or the other but you can choose to be prompted for each call.

Personally, I find it easier to just completely switch but YMMV.
