So i just got my GV invite from another forum member and ive got it all set up but im not really sure what to do with it. its given me a new number to callto receive my VM and i dont really know about this, any give me some insite on what i can do to optomize my expirence?

just use Google Voice number as your number. It will forward calls to your cellphone. It is pretty much a replacement for your phone number.
