Google voice won't let me dial out

I have google voice on my droid and it won't let me dial out. Every time I dial out it says "Google Voice account has not been setup yet". I uninstalled google voice and yet it says the same thing.

I uninstalled, rebooted. Same thing.

I reinstalled, and same thing.

I have it on "do not use google voice to make any calls". - same thing.

Maybe I messed up a setting on my phone settings? IDK. Any ideas?

It was "GV dialer" that was doing it. I'm not sure what it is or how it got on my phone, but i went down the list and figured thats what it was and uninstalled it. Now google voice and my phone both work properly.
