No I only received a few invites to wave which I never used or gave out because I just cant wrap my arms around it.

So I requested a invite form google wave website.
How long does it take to get them?

Never checked this out or gtalk for that matter.

    Thanks

I'm not really sure how long it takes to get an invite one you request one. SOme seem to get them fairly quickly, and others it takes weeks. Though, if someone on here has an extra invite to hand out, I'm sure they'll help ya out. :D

So once I get a invite and create a account I'll get invites?
Or should I say whoever gives me one will get 2 invites?

    Thanks

Thanks for helping n0m0n out, marty4short!

n0m0n, yeah at some point you'll get invites. If you log into your gvoice account via the web, you'll see the invites on the left pane when they finally do show up. I got 2 or 3 at some point and gave those away to people on here, but saved one for my wife.

SO I can like this gvioce to my verizon # and my calls VM will go to it, or must I get a g#?

I kinda like the idea of getting a g# to tell you the truth is preeminent.
I'm just starting to think about purchasing a domain name for so that our email accounts so that never have to change if we switch ISP's..
Whats holding me up is a name???

    Thanks

Yeah, you can link your gv number to your vzw number. I only use the Voice mail service right now from GV, but I also got a GV number when I signed up. One thing to remember if you switch to a GV number though is that using it will use your minutes, unless you add it as one of your favorite numbers if you have that plan on VZW. There are a couple of good FAQ's on here about GV.

OK so my verizon # is linked to the gv #.
I chose the first option which was vm and not the 2nd which was for a gv #.

It gave me a VM # that I need to call to get my VM's, is that also my gv # or do I need to request that separately?

As for favorite #'s, you mean family and friends?
If you do I do have that plan!!!

Yep, that's the plan I think you need (we don't have that plan atm, so I can't be sure).

Here's a good article on GV:
How To: Totally Overhaul Your Phones With Google Voice - Google Voice - Gizmodo

One of the cool things if you use the GV number is that you can have it ring your mobile, home and any other phones you set up when someone calls that GV number. So, no matter where you are, they can find you *evil laugh*... :p
