Guys when you get some bozo like that in your thread don't quote the offending post. When you do that we gotta wipe your posts too. Just report it. We will take care of it.

    Google Voice Invites

Thank you Hook! I apologize. I didn't mean to quote the conversation. I just want to let others know that for some reason invites are starting to dry up. I don't know if it is a permanent thing. But I do have invites left from my stock that I sell in other forums. I just wanted to let my fellow Andriod owners know what's up and that there are some places that they can still get one. If anyone is interested they can contact 4gvinvites@gmail.com

I would like to know, for future reference, how to report these offenses. Thks

As I was saying, I have done nothing offensive. I have said nothing offensive. So Moderator, can you clear this up? Or is this how I report abuse, negligence, and harassment?

Nice ;), though it was never meant to turn into a huge thing over google voice. I was simply asking if anyone in Team Chaos or its users had a spare invite obviously that has gotten off topic. So the thread can be deleted or whatever.

Nomon (sorry could be wrong on the spelling on my droid can't double check). Google Voice can be used in place of visual voicemail for voicemails amongst other things. Check voice mail via phone, pc, have it transcribed to email text etc. That's the top of the iceberg, you can get a google number and do other things, I would look it up on the google voice site for full description.

If you have Google Invites, you are more than welcome to share them with Droid Forums if you are giving them away. If you are selling them then you are not welcome to offer them for sale. Google Invites are free from Google. If you have any further problems with this, please feel free to move onto another forum.

I'll take it a step further and be quite clear about it. If I see you do it again you will get a permanent ban. You're in your first 60 days around here, the last thing you want to do is cause trouble. So don't go on any of the Google Voice Invites threads or you will find yourself looking for another forum.

Thanks I have never really looked at voice so I will visit the site.
BUT I mistakenly thought this was in reference to google wave since I have or had invites for that.
I have been looking at wave and cant seem to figure out whats so big if anything about it.

BUT since I mis-spoke this has tweaked my interest about gvoice...
Not to be duh! but you need invites to use voice?

    Thanks

Is this gvoice service free except for international calling?
Does it link to my existing 3 or do I need to get another one?

    Sorry just learning about this...
I usually use what I need and not what I can do so this is good to learn.
    Bare with me
    Thanks

What does it mean when it says that it cant verify the phone #?
I have the app on my droid and chose my gmail account which is on this phone.
I entered in my VM pin # and it cant verify???

    Thanks

n0m0n... just checking this first... Have you signed up for gvoice yet on the website?

If not, yeah, you do need invites to join it, sorta like gmail when it first came out. Once you get an invite and join, you'll get invites to send out at some unfathomable interval.
