If you were doubting the usefulness of Google Home now you can rest assured that the device will at least be able to understand what you are saying. The Google Home along with Google Assistant can now understand 95% of Language. That's up from 80% in 2013. Google credits their algorithm for the improvement, and says that as more users that get involved the smarter it becomes. It is pretty incredible that you can talk to an artificial intelligence that can understand you 10x better than your dog and at least as well as your neighbor. According to Aurthor Ray Kurzweil who is working with Google to create chatbots artificial intelligence will be indistinguishable from humans by 2029. These are some pretty incredible advancements.
