Google Talk Connection on Droid X

I had the Droid before Droid X and never had an issue with Talk until I switched over to Droid X. It seems my connection on Talk and only Talk, keeps reconnecting. I have friends who tell me I'm signing in and out like crazy. If I have a chat open I notice the red bar on the bottom of the chat "connection is lost". If on the buddy list screen, it'll fade indicating I've lost connection.

My signal is fine. Always 3 or 4 bars and I never connect through wifi (not even on my droid). I'm not sure what the problem is and I can't find another post regarding this issue.

I use Google talk alot at work with my co workers who also have Android phones. Two have the Droid, and I have the Droid X. Their google talk is fine, mine does exactly what you are describing when on the 3G network with good signal strength. Same problem on WiFi with a solid connection. Any ideas!?
