Around 2010-20112 Apple was shunned for not having flash but it was not a few years later that Google started pushing away from flash. As the years continue to go by flash is being used less and less and now Google is looking to phase it out of Chrome completely.

Flash sucks. Coding in flex was the worst job I've ever had.

It's now beginning to make more sense as sites start using HTML5. 5-6 years ago it was more problematic. Chrome on the desktop doesn't support Java, (script), either. Java is more dangerous than Flash for that very reason.

I don't miss it. I side loaded flash onto my phones when they first stopped supporting it, but haven't felt the need in forever. I'm not even sure I've got it installed on my PCs these days.

I dont miss it either. But the virtual class I am about to take uses it so I have to use Safari for it (I have a macbook pro).
