Google search

I searched the forum and couldn't find any other issues like mine. So I apologize in advance if it's already been discussed in one way or another.
When I go into Google search and begin to type, I'll get maybe 3 characters typed and my phone freezes. It doesn't happen every time, but quite alot.
Any idea how to fix this?

Do you have the instant beta turned on? You can toggle it on googles home page. See if this helps?

I have a similar problem. Both the google search icon and the making glass hard key on the bottom right are afflicted with this problem.

I turned the Instant Beta to "on".
Hope that does the trick since I use Google search often.

My x was doing that also but it seems to have fixed itself... Sorry i cant help but it seems to be a very wide spread issue.
