I upgraded from 1.0.0 to 1.1.1 and been messing with this almost all day (wiping system/data and reinstalling from scratch), but is it just me or the basic Google search widget gone? It doesn't show up for me even after formatting /system and /data and then reinstalling the base rom then the gapps update. Tried without a theme, with a theme, etc. The widget is there in CM6 and Lithium as well, but it seems that those roms don't have the ext2 module built-in and I'm lazy and need the ext2 module for sd-ext support (have /data/app symlinked there for more app storage and using a modified firerat 05mountsd startup script). I only really use two widgets, and the Google search is one ;\

You can always download the Google search widget from the market

Ah, thats easy enough heh. I was thinking the widget was from AOSP and not on the market. Since it it a market app I can see it not being included in the rom and installed into /system, Thanks.
