Google news app?

    As my topic states...is there a google news app, free or paid? I can't find one in the market put out by google. Thanks in advance

    IIRC, there's a Google News app (that comes with the phone), but it's only a widget. Otherwise, you can use the news app that comes with Droid 2 (I believe it's part of Moto Blur) and choose Google News as your feed. It's also a widget, though. I believe there are some other unofficial Google News apps in the market, but I can't say how good they are. I use BuzzBox News, which gives me the option of choosing Google News as my news source along with many others.

    Yeah, I knew about the widgets but not buzzbox. I'll try that. You would think there would be a google news app put out by google on a google phone. Thanks for your reply.

    Sadly, you'd think the same thing for a tasks app.
