Anyone else having trouble getting Google Maps to work in this iteration?
Yes I tried installing and it wouldn't, I think the Dev needs to update to sdk version 7
Nope guys....sdk is already version 7
What you do is, delete Maps.apk from /system. Reboot your phone. And then uninstall com.android.apps.maps.apk from Manage Applications.
Then you can install 4.0 Maps from the Market
worked perfectly, thank you natediddy
I'm not sure if I'm having the same issue but my issue is that whenever I reboot my phone, my maps app disappears! I am running BB.07 with 24k DarkDroid and I've tried everything to get it to stop doing this. I've wiped twice, tried nandroid, tried update.zip tried it while OC and without OC. The weird part is that when it disappears, I can't install it from the market. it says "incompatible update" I have to install a 3.1 version I downloaded and then update that from the market for it to take place. But then as soon as I reboot, it's gone.
Anyone else seeing this??
