There have been plenty of times where I am running all sorts of inverted apps along with a theme choser apk where issues show up that normally wouldnt be there. For example, yesterday I installed one of these apks and every inverted app I was running had black on black basically everywhere, uninstalled it and all was well again.


I dont have that textfield problem and I am also on the newest version of the inverted google+ they have posted.

FastKatt, it seems that the problem is with your theme. The theme chosers are a nice little "quickie" change but they don't address the real themeing that has to be done to make a complete theme. The xml edits for this app alone were in the 40s or 50s...... and unfortunately, the theme chosers don't touch the xmls.....

Well, I have a problem that must somehow be related to my Rom or Theme...
Running UD #12 Nightly with the Blue Bionic Theme, the text field while Swyping is B.O.B.
I have to select all text to proof-read my posts...
Just DLd the 7/3 file, just in case, & the issue persists.
Any thoughts?

I haven't seen this issue anywhere else, but I dropped most inverted apps when I went to Gingerbread...

I made this one a static black cause it was showing up almost white on white with a regular text box. Question is on other text boxes with your theme, are they black with a color text or what?

I looked around, this is the only app I'm running with a black text box, besides Tapatalk "dark theme".
This is the only one I have an issue with.

I've been afraid to go all "inverted" ever since switching to Gingerbread.
Some of the apps seam to have been abandoned...

Which apps? Talk is the main one that isn't backwards compatible between froyo and GB. Twitter/Facebook/QuickSearch/Reader all still work with GB. Oh, transparent pandora works well too.

I just hadn't had time to do the research.
As for the abandoned comment, I was looking back on last updated posts for some of them & it seamed like the market apps were newer than the inverted ones.

Maybe it's my fault, with all the back & forth trying to find stability in a rom for this old D1... I've not been diligent enough with keeping up with all the inverted goodness.

It would be nice if there was a sticky for inverted apps that are Gingerbread approved.

On Topic:
I only have 1 "friend" on G+, so I'm keeping my theme, for now.
When I get time, I'll swap back to the stock theme. Then we'll know if it is the theme causing my grief.
