Wooooot! Now all we need is an app:icon_ banana:
I don't think they have activated it yet. Every time I go to the site, it doesn't allow me to edit yet. Is it working for anybody else?
Documents to go does a great job with Google docs
Sent from my Etch A Sketch using my knobs
It's working for me, there is now an edit button at the top left in the default browser, when you click it, it allows you to edit the doc.
Possible that you are looking at a spreadsheet - which has always been editable?
No "document" docs are editable for me.
Same, I cannot edit any documents no matter what. (Or create them on my Droid). This would be really nice...
Yep...working for me. Click "edit" (on a google docs word type document)and it's editable.
Re: Google docs
I don't have any edit button on my docs.google.com using the default browser. What type of phone do you have?
I have a Droid (1), running 2.2
Thanks, this is something I really want.
There is an app called GDocs that will allow you to edit
This is getting frustrating... See: http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/eIwWRXO_u-n2wBkwKbZMRA?feat=directlink
Where is the Edit option?
Droid 1 running my rom (SnkBitten) a 2.2.1 source built ROM.
Try to edit a doc by selecting the document so it's being "viewed" and see if you have an edit in the top right corner. It does not look like you can create a document, just edit them.
I just went to docs.google.com and saw my documents...clicked on one and then 'edit' that was in the top right. That allowed me to edit the document.
edit docs google
Thanks for the input, I don't see that edit button when I go to look at documents. Has anyone seen other sites talking about this or announcements?
