I really want to make a glassed version of feedr but I'm not really sure where to start. I found the file in the res folder that I think corresponds to the widget background but I'm not sure if I can just modify that or if I need to change anything else to make it work. If it wasn't a paid app I would probably ask you really nicely to give it a try for me since it seems like it's not too tough for you. I applied your helix mod and that looks great. That's what made me think that I could easily metamorph a theme for feedr by moving it to system/app and now that I see you glassed the buzz widget it gave me even more hope. Any help you could offer would be appreciated.

Yeah the text staying black was the same problem I ran into. I'm assuming I'd have to know how to edit one of the layout xml files or something. I have absolutely no idea how to do that. Could you post your .png that you used to glass it anyway for me? I'm sure yours looks better than mine. Thanks for trying too...I'm sure someone knows how to edit the text color. It's the last thing I need to make all my widgets match.

My buddy's coming by tomorrow to watch a hockey game and he knows a ton about programming and coding for multiple platforms (app developer for iphone). He said he's extremely familiar with writing/editing/reading xml so we'll see if he can't figure it out. If he does I'll try and post a metamorph to theme feedr if anyone's interested.

Kinda off topic, but damn, couldn't that widget be smaller in the first place? (Not anyones fault other than Google Themselves).

It's no wonder we need more screens ...
