    YEAH! Just saw this on androidcentral! wow, so do you guys all think google will allow the droid 2s and droid x's to become unlocked and stuff? i cant wait for more news from google on how they will run motorola! biggg news = Awesome

    Well, as long as our devices will get an update while Google owns moto, I don't see why they won't unlock it with that hypothetical update. If they wont be updating the d2 then its not as realistic

    I doubt it'll do anything for our old Droid 2s and Xs, but we can hope. My wish list is a real official Gingerbread update and an unlocked bootloader. This is assuming the purchase goes through.
