Good anti virus scan?

You don't need Anti-Virus on an Android handset. Don't get them not even the free ones. All they will do is slow down your phone.

to have a program always running and scanning ur phone for viruses that dont exist on the android platform is quite pointless IMO

yeah i downloaded lookout or whatever and i hated that it includes a virus protection on it. But after i tried to locate my phone next to me and it said my phone was about 15-20 min from here i uninstalled

There are NO viruses on the Android platform -- even if they were they'd have to have root access to do any damage.

What about using the browser, web sites, etc. Can your phone get a virus from them? Just trying to learn...
