Rmr. Do you get verizon browser window asking you to subscribe? I just got it. Had to reboot to get rid of it. Has not been an issue in the past couple of days.
Yep, that's exactly what I get. I'm on rooted GB, wireless tether 3.0 (yellow icon) and when launched it also launches the stock 3g hotspot app and takes me to the Verizon subscription page. Without yet having applied the tbh patch its what I get every time and hence the paranoia (even if the patch works)
Out of curiosity - does anyone know the options of using a different ROM? I've seen the name liberty thrown around and such, but not sure if that gets around the tightened tethering in GB.
yeah, PDAnet looks like a great option...but I'm still on a 10.4 Mac so its no go. Definitely will use when I upgrade to leopard at some point (doing so would render useless a lot of audio software I use)
