Godmode??

    How do I activate godmode in BB 0.6.2.1? Im trying to remove apps from the system file with astro and it can only be done when godmode is activated....I tried the script -godmode and it said no such script :/

    Er...I think you mean SU access? This isn't a videogame.

    You can go to ROM Toolkit and uncheck System mounted as R/O. I believe that should work. If that doesn't work, open terminal and run mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock4 /system

    Er there is a script called god mode he must not have it.

    Well, even so, the command I wrote above will mount the /system directory as read/write.

    Just use root explorer. Allows you to mount as rw or r only. So mount rw, system, apps, delete the app sys app u don't want

    He probably does not want to pay for Root Explorer given he's using Astro.

    I figured so. It's a shame. Root Explorer makes life easier. Plus it supports a good dev.

    Ok so I went to the rom tool kit and it wont let me mount....I am unmounted now......

    No.....if I get it will it work? Im trying to remove some system apps.......which needs godmode or what ever you call it

    Yes. I guarantee u it will work. If u want I will stay with u while u do it. I guarantee u will never have to use godmode. No one uses godmode.:)
