Hey I'm currently using ADW launcher, I want the honest answer on whether its worth it to switch based on smoothness, app responsiveness, icons, themes etc. I'm not rooted just like to try different things with my phone

it's just like anything else (such as a rom) - it depends on your phone. many people swear by ADW, but it didn't work very well on my phone. a few days ago i had to replace my D1, and ADW runs very smooth on the new one. but, i'm going to give the updated GO a run on my new phone, and see how it works. i really like the options in GO, and am hoping that my phone likes it as much!

My droid is really liking this launcher. My bff is making me try it! LOL Glad she did!
Is a lot faster than launcher pro for me. The only thing Im missing is some of the widgets LP had. Any chance of getting those?

I added Multiple Picture Wallpaper and it's even better on my Inc. More screen change transitions, different wallpaper for each screen, etc

yea, you have to hit that lil "x" just right. Might be kinda hard for guys with big fingers. IDK. But I eventually got it.

Awesome launcher. You and your team should be very proud. It's replaced Launcher Pro Plus as my Home app of choice.

One question: How do I move the themes to the SD card? The option is disabled in the 'Manage Applications' screen in the Android settings.

Download Colorized Widget. They are pretty similar to the LPP widgets, if not exactly the same. It's a free app

The restore backup doesn't seem to work for me. I'm trying to theme this and everytime i reflash it I have to reset up my screen. Is this a known issue being worked on? Also, question....in the drawable_hdpi folder, what exactly are the icon1.png through icon44.png's for? Should i be using a template from somewhere else?? I need to get this themed to include in my theme or none of my users will try it.

I just DLed this a couple days ago. I had been on LPP since October and over the last week, it has been lagging horribly. The final straw was Thursday morning when it FCed on me about a dozen times in an hour.

I was recommended GO EX by my brother. It's been awesome. I'm loving the themes. It has the scrollable dockbar (one of the MAIN things that kept me with LPP over ADW).

So far my only "wishlist" item would be a Facebook widget.

Well to be honest. No I don't. That being said, is there a reason you didn't answer my question right above your post regarding a template for creating themes? I just themed 300 pngs, most of which make no sense whatsoever and probably don't even matter. If you expect themers to support and promote your theme, we'd appreciate a little help/feedback.

Regardless, to all of the users of my theme...here's my Rockin' Rainbows theme. Uninstall the current go launcher and install this one via astro.
