    Is anyones gmail force closing? I don't use mine bc I have no use for it really but I can't open it to get it to stop updating.....about ever 15min it just pops up on the screen it failed to force close

    Try settings/apps/manage apps/all tab/gmail/force stop/wipe data

    Then you might need to sign in again.

    Last time I had this kind of problem, I simply Force Closed it, clear cache, uninstall, reboot, install again, sign in and it was fine.

    sry I went straight from class to work tod and just got in a little while ago...but after I posted this I forgot all about wiping data and that worked earlier but thanx for the help for sure!!!
