When I open my gmail on my Droix X it shows me about 16 e-mails yet there is a 50 in () to the right of the name Inbox at the top. Where are the other e-mails if any. Also I notice there is a choice to Archive, Labels, or Delete when you click on the check mark next to one of the e-mails. Where to the ones go if you click Archive.

I'm wondering if I've lost some Widget or something to get to the things I'm not seeing.

if you have a "Draft" folder try checking that, I know on my G1 whenever I sent out an e-mail it would keep an unread copy of the message in the draft folders which via yahoo would show the same mail alert.
