Gmail Attachment Download

Hey,

I have searched the forums and some said that froyo update fixed this but no luck.

I cannot download anything but image files. I emailed a song to myself and it lags out previewing it. No download link. Also I was emailed a .ics file from a blackberry and i couldn't download it.

Any help? Am I missing something? Thanks guys.

I use this:

connect to normal version of gmail directly from the web browser. After you log in on the bottom of the page you will see a link to the desktop version. From there you should be able to download your attachments.

I have had this problem for months now.
When people send me pictures as an attachment, the pictures do not come to me as an attachment but just as a picture in the body of the email. It does not allow me to right-click on the picture to go "save as" so I have no way to get these pictures out of the email.
I am at work and need these pictures from the email!
