I have made a few posts but figured I might as well introduce myself. I am a droid newbie. I bought a Samsung Fascinate for my wife and myself last month or so. So far they have been amazing. I am a convert from BB. I am an Engineer, so the extra advantages of andriod and or rooting the phone are of interest to me. I will be investigating rooting my phone over the next month.

I suggest that you read as many articles that you can. Make notes. If you have questions post them. Then, if you decide to root and have any issues the community will be here to help.
