Gingerbreak 1.2 goes through the motions, seems to be working, and the phone reboots, but root is not achieved.

Is there any procedure available to root this phone? Even a temporary root?

For the time being I'd like to push one file into /system/framework (framework-res.adk).

Thanks,

Chris

Make sure you have USB debugging turned on and have a micro sd card mounted.

Barski Is Absolutely Correct, In Order For It To Run And Work Properly It Has Some Requirements. Best Thing I Can Offer Is To Try And Download Another Copy Of Gingerbreak. Here's Mine And It Has Worked About A Half A Dozen Times Now.
