Gingerbread OTA update issues? Battery and heat?

I was thinking about that but computer is down...I may just wait for the official push though. Official just sounds good lol

I can never wait. That's why I signed up for the soak, too bad that got busted. The OG Droid got 3 OTA's and I never was able to wait for any of them. I always downloaded the file from a forum.

You can download from the rapidshare link (post #98) at XDA to your phone. Move it to the root of you external sd card, rename it update.zip, then reboot into recovery and you're good. No PC.
