Getting Custom Kernels Running on the Droid X

I've inquired about an X, if I can get my hands on one I'm on board aliasxerog.

Made a deal for an HTC Incredible in the process lol.

We're having issues gathering the funds for one. We got a total of 15 dollars donated to us. So, when we get the cash you'll be getting one to help us. Also, do you have any Droid device?

I currently have a Droid and will have an Incredible in a couple of weeks.

I have some funds for an X already, just not nearly enough. If someone more talented than myself joins in they should receive a device prior to me.

When I said inquired I meant I inquired from someone who tweeted they had an X for sale. When I re-read what I said it sounded like I was saying I'm only on board if you guys can get me an X...I was not saying that. I was saying I'm on board when/if I'm able to gain/purchase an X.

Can you keep a running total on donations? I'm going to donate $100 once it breaks $100 in donations, and I get paid from work.

DarkRom, my contact on Reddit, is still trying to get in touch with his guy again. Evidently he doesn't use Twitter or forums otherwise this would go a lot faster. =\

FYI, I unstickied it for a while (we're working on professionalizing this, getting a dedicated bank account and all to keep it 100% isolated from personal funds). That said, the thread still exists and the link should still work. My apologies for the confusion I might have caused. We're working on it!

I'll be happy to help test anything as the progress gets closer to being reasonably safe. I only have one X for now but a second is on the way in a month or so.

Suggestion, guys. Put a donate link up on freemymoto if it's not there already and each of you put a link in your sigs. I know it might rankle a bit but it'll get a LOT more attention to the possibility.

And put WHAT you're going to do with the donations because then people are MORE likely to donate.
