Yeah, that's usually when I see it occurring the most as well.

easiest way is to go to market, then search for "rogro" and you should find "GDE - The new home experience!" ... rogro82@gmail.com is the GDE developer.

I'm really loving Panda Home - it was the first one i tried, but I like the customization and the additional screens (currently have 5, but saw I could have much more). Also love the fact that the desktop orientation changes regardless if I have the slider open. Took a little bit to get used to, and downloaded some themes, but it has been super stable (not one FC), and i haven't noticed any response/lag issues.

I didnt care too much for Panda, but I like OpenHome and GDE but it just seems like something is missing from each of those and I cant quite put my finger on it yet.

I installed PandaHome earlier today too. Wasn't overly impressed. It def ran very smooth... and I love the app drawers. However the themes really didn't impress me. I downloaded several to get a better idea of what it has to offer. Didn't feel it added anything to the GUI. Been spoiled with that GDE video :)

I may give it another shot with a fresh frame of mind but it didn't do for me what I thought. GDE looks great but I hear it's buggy so I'm holding off.

Also my backgrounds with PandaHome would not size properly. Pictures worked perfectly as backgrounds with stock theme...

I found it at GDE - The new home experience! v0.1.7.5 Application for Android | Tools If you have barcode reader, just aim your camera at the QR code and it should take you to it in the Market.

I'm waiting to see which will work the best without being buggy or force closures.

You did realize that Panda can use OpenHome and aHome themes as well as its own, right? There's an awful lot out there!

Well, just a little update: I bought OpenHome and GDE, and downloaded the latest Panda Home beta. Panda has taken over as the primary app on my Droid. The -SIX- docks are amazing! Like someone else said, I have reduced my real estate to only three screens. I have a dock for my "speed dials" (direct dial shortcuts), one for my communication apps (HandCent, Email, Dolphin Browser, Contacts and Markets), one for my Leisure apps (FBreader, Gallery, Media Player, etc), one for system apps (ES File Explorer, etc) and so on. The main homescreen is nice and clean, another screen has a bunch of widgets, and I actually don't yet know what to do with the other one!

OpenHome is coming along, and GDE is great, but I use my phone in landscape mode almost all the time, and I really need autorotation. This is really a great time to be looking for a home replacement, there are so many great choices!
