gixxerjoe, I installed GDE a couple of weeks ago and had so many lag problems I uninstalled it and went with Home++. After watching your video how nice it seems to be working on your Droid, I'm going to try one last time. Thanks for posting the video tonight.

Checked the video and it played fine from my Droid and PC. Don't know why it would say unavailable.

I just watched the video fine as well.

Man that so reminds me of my days with Linux+Beryl. :D

Love the idea of the bottom dock staying on every screen and just as you say, the phone part of the PHONE should be available no matter where you are. :)

I just installed Panda Home yesterday and that seems to be running pretty well and works no issues with Beautiful Widgets so for now I am sticking with it until I can be sure GDE is working with most apps.

    Very Nice

I have been watching the threads on both GDE and Home++ for days. I like my droid the way it is. I adjusted to the phone button by adding the shortcut to all three screens. Still that GDE video looks pretty nice

Thank you for all the positive comments. I agree there are some great alternative home screens such as panda, a home, and home++ I tried panda home and really liked it too. I haven't tried home++ yet. But maybe I will give it a go to see what it is about. If I get time today I will try to do a video of panda on my Droid. If anyone has any request for videos of various apps or specific opperation of the Droid let me know. As I plan on doing a few over this weekend. So let me know what you want to see. :)

You know, I have problems understanding Google Maps Beta 3.2.1 (GM) - maybe a video would make things more clear. I have attempted to put in several different addresses to navigate to but GM cannot find them. If you go to the GM on the computer at home, it finds the address no problem. I wonder why that is? Also, with the layers and satellite view is not always working right for me. In fact with the satellite view it normally can't keep up with me, way too slow displaying.
