Hey everyone! :icon_ devil: Wanted to make a quick video of GDE running on my Moto Droid. So the ones that have not seen GDE in action could take a look.

*EDIT* In the video I said I had Beautiful Widgets running, it is NOT Beautiful Widgets. I have Weather Widget - Donate running... sorry for the confusion it was my bad..

Nice video man....it's running EXCELLENT on your device.

Do you get the occasional force close or anytype of lag after extended heavy use?

    Thanks for posting the video.

    No problem...

But every now and then I do get a force close, but for me it seemed to be when I was running certain widgets. With the things I have on my device now I have not had a force close in 3 days. I was mostly having issues with running the fox news widget and cnn news widget. Deleted them and life is good again :) The other thing that I have noticed is when you try to spin the cube real fast...the screen tends to go black for a second. As for lag, I really have not seen to much lag in the operation. And I have a ton of apps on my device.

This is what I have running......
    Home Screen and Themes:
    GDE Home
    Hero Theme

    Widgets:
    Beautiful Widgets (Clock and Weather)

Auto Rotate OnOff (all by CurveFish)
    GPS OnOff
    Brightness Level
    WiFi OnOff

    File Managers:
OI File Manager (required for downloading new skins for Beautiful Widgets)
Astro File Manager (best on the market)

    Office Utilitys:
    Docs to Go Full Version
    Scan2PDF
    MobisleNotes

    Other Apps:
    Weather Bug
    Slacker Radio
    TV.com
    Video Player
    Backgrounds
    Speedtest.net
    Places Directory
    Robo Defense
    Qik
    My Verizon
    WikiMobile Encycolpedia
    WiFi Finder
    Google Sky Map
    PhotoShop
    mp3tagger
    Listen (podcaster app)
    MixZing Music Player
Google Maps (need to download this in the market b/c it is updated from what comes on the phones)
    Google Voice
    Metal Detector
    Shop Savvy
    Pandora Radio
    Favorite Recipes
    Live Football Scores
    Shazam
    twidroid (twitter app)
    Jetflicks

any time CK!! I will be making more videos in the up coming days of some other stuff on the Droid. I was thinking about doing some "how to's" for the Droid to post on the site I mod at... but if you guys dont mind I will post them up here too. I will give a shout out to Droidforums.net in the videos as well.

In my main application menu... I have a icon that says Weather Widgets. Click on that, and it takes you into the settings for that app. Down at the bottom there is a Weather and Clock skin downloader. You will also need to use OI file Manager to open and install the skins...

Long press on your home screen, choose Widgets, and select application dock. To move the dock on the home screen you will need to long press on the far right or left of the dock. Took me a minute to figure that out.
