Rooted GB is awesome. Liberty will need to make a huge impression for me to leave GB.

Anyone else get reboots when trying to overclock?

two problems...

The only two problems I have are

The apps I move to sd when I plug into a computer simply disappear off my launcher. Very frustrating since I figured this out after setting up the phone. Once I moved the apps back to the phone they stopped disappearing when plugged in.

Also wireless tethering is broken :( booo! Let me know if anyone has a fix.

Otherwise my lag, and when i open the keyboard freeze is gone, as is the screen going super dim and taking 5-10 seconds to come on from sleep. Only day one, but no issues yet.

Very nice cant wait for it to be tweaked, there is a bunch of crap on here.

Played with it for about an hour. It is nicer then froyo blur for sure but I say I like Liberty WAY more.
Pros:
Apps start fast and are smooth when launching.
It looks nice.
Cut & Paste.

Cons:
The blur launcher is still not near as smooth as adw.
The dialer is lame compared to wy contacts.
Blur Bloat.

IMHO I dont see what the hype is about except it will make really nice custom roms soon. Until a good custom rom comes out, I will be on Liberty.

BTW, reboot problems are solved in Liberty with the imoseyon mod: imoseyon
Read threw the comments in the latest version and the last to customize it even more (either better battery life or faster rom).

Now dont flame me, just stating my opnion above.

I have a problem with my phone. I was running liberty 1.5 and went to install the GB tonight. Installed fine, but when it rebooted after install, it is stuck in the loop. I get the M and then it switches to liberty and the wing spins, then flashes, then stop and spins again. It keeps doing that.

Any thoughts on how it got messed up?

oh, I guess I did not read that part. So how do I do that? Hold the power button down and the X key?

Hold x while booting, hit the search button when it gets to the exclamation point (assuming that didn't change with gingie...... saw something about hitting both volume buttons instead but that was on the dx)

Yep.... should boot normally afterwards. First boot will take a few minutes.

ok, I rebooted after I cleared the cache, but I still get the same flashing liberty.

Thanks for helping me, by the way

To change that you would have to change the bootanimation file to the default one.... ill have to find where it is again. I'll edit this post when I find it.

Edit: just replace the bootanimation.zip in the /system/media file.
