I've had a serious issue with FCs on ADW EX since going to a GB rom. Does anyone know if this would be alleviated by going back to one of the Froyo ROMs? I guess the question is, are the ADW EX issues related to GB ROMs only, or is it an issue with ADW EX that will continue regardless of the ROM?

Now that I phrase it that way, I'm probably asking in the wrong section. :/

Many of the issues with adw and lp on gb are related to the overly aggressive task killer on gb. You could try locking adw into memory or perhaps moving it to /system

Go into ADWsettings then select General behavior then system preferences and select the system persistent box so it is checked. That ll lock adw into memory and should solve your issue.

I was informed by AnderWeb Himself that the Persistent option does not work with GB.

Hmm...interesting. not sure about all of the other gb roms but I know pe5.0.2 and cm based roms have the option to lock home and other apps in memory right from the settings menu

Oh then for the person above see if your ROM has the option to lock home in memory or not. Still have system persistent checked as a precautionary atleast.

I have found that if you do move it to the system folder you will need to disable the persistent setting in ADW or it won't act right. I did this and have barely had a hiccup in three days.
