Gang Wars - Vehicle Help

Curious if anybody knows the effect of vehicles in a fight. I'm assuming they play a role since they appear to have attack and defense ratings. Also, I have 500 people in my gang. Does that mean I should only purchase 500 weapons, 500 armor, 500 vehicles?

I have no idea how to answer your question but i really think its funny how they completely ignored your question and just put refferal codes ( i don't play this game).
