Gallery recent activity?

I used to get updates on my home screen gallery of my friends Facebook pictures now I do not and cannot seem to figure out how to get them back. I have this turned on in the settings, any help would be appreciated. This happened after I unlinked my Facebook account and when I liked it again the updates stopped.
