Gallery not Installed?

Where did my Gallery go? I have a lot of pics stored in my Droid. Many stored in folders in the Gallery I created by connecting to my computer and manipulating the Gallery on my computer desktop. This morning when I tap the Gallery icon on the Droid, I get only a message that says "Application Is Not Installed on Your Phone." What could have happened? I did upload a couple of Droid pics to the computer last night, but I don't know anything I could have done to cause this.

Drag the icon into the trash then pull it back up from the "drawer"
