    I have an S4 Verizon on 4.3. (BN: I45VRUEMK2)
I’ve downloaded an device diagnostics app and it says : ‘Please use the Samsung official version. Your device has been rooted.’ But it is incomprehensible because I didn’t do anything with that.

Ohhh and few functions are not able to use :S Maybe it’s because of the rooting.

Please!!! What should I do with that? Should I unroot it to make it work well?? I don’t really want to harm my device or open the android system if it is not nessesary.
I want to make the best from my phone, but friom this case I cannot. Could You give me some advice? :/ Please!!

    Welcome to the forum

I'm going to assume 2 things, you bought it new and you didn't root it. They shouldn't come rooted from VZW unless it had been a return. If it's now and you didn't root it take it back.

I bought it from ebay, from a company what looked trustful.
And I've just downloaded this app and it said that my phone is rooted. And now I started to chech the functions and few of them are not working. :/ They are failed.

So what should I do now? :/

I suspected that may have been the case. I would get in touch with the seller.

You can download Samsung Kies on your computer and after plugging your phone into it you can restore it to new.

    ...As the factory reset?

Do you think that I should unroot it?

    Alright!
    Probably I made it...or I made something :p

So, I made a factory reset what has cleared everything...seriously everything!! When it turned on, I saw that a Verizon Setup Wizzard app came up... then I turned off few Verizon apps in the settings, what I could.
After I downloaded the SuperSu app, and went into the settings: here accidently I touched the 'Enable Superuser' (or similar title) and it started to uninstall immediately. Then when it has finished it, I scrolled down, and I touched the 'full unroot'. And restarted it.

Do You think that I have unrooted it totally?? :/
How can I know that now it's unrooted?
(Device diagnostics doesn't show up any problems - ever no mentioning about the rooting)

It settings - about it may/should show modified if you are still rooted.. You can also install root explorer to check it out.

You really want to make sure your safe in these cases! I would do a full Odin flash back to factory to make sure there is nothing there! I have everything you need to go back to complete stock.

You can also download Root Checker from the Play Store to see whether or not you're rooted. It's quick and easy. Good luck!
