My Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGH-T999 version for T-Mobile) is stuck in factory mode. I have followed the following instructions I found elsewhere on this forum but no luck. The instructions I found were as follows:

"1. ud have to install a terminal emulator from google market
2. Type su
3. Then enter the following after the #
echo -n ON > /efs/FactoryApp/factorymode

(yes ON is the correct setting to turn it off)

Then I had to reboot for the change to take effect."
********

I've followed these instructions to the letter by typing everything exactly as shown here, pressing enter at the end of each step/text entry. I've also input the text with no spaces, and all together without pressing enter until all the text is entered, and any other way I could type it into the terminal emulator. The problem with these instructions is that the poster did not give what keys he pushed for each step. Maybe I'm a bit dense but it doesn't make sense to me.

PLEASE HELP!
