Just got an email Verizon doing free shipping on all online order until like Dec 21st. Winner if everyone that pre ordered can have the shopping cost removed or do you have to cancel and reorder?

Gathering my Accessories for my Note 2

Since I'm still waiting on my Note 2 on Verizon I've spent my time getting all my accessories. I want the 32gb internal memory version but we all know that will not happen anytime soon, so I decided to get the 64gb Micro SD card so I don't have memory issues. Today Amazon has the "good" SanDisk 64gb card for $38.99 :icon_ lala: !!! Free shipping!
Amazon.com: SanDisk Ultra 64 GB MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card with Adapter (SDSDQU-064G-AFFP-A): Electronics
Anyone who is looking for this go there to get it. Best price I could find after weeks of searching.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of the Note 2 lovers patiently waiting on Verizon.

I'm really considering retail purchasing this phone, I'm just worried about Samsung radios. When i had the gs1 on sprint I didn't have any issues, however on Verizon my maxx is always switching between 4g/3g. I guess I'm just worried about spending 650 dollars and getting worse reception.

My MAXX switched between 4G and 3G a lot as well, but it hasn't been as much of an issue with the Galaxy S3. With the Galaxy S3, it tends to stick with 3G in weak 4G areas (places where my MAXX, Galaxy Nexus, and Rezound would all bounce back and forth between 3G and 4G). This is done on purpose in order to maintain a more stable connection and prevent the drops and battery loss that constantly switching can cause. By all accounts I've read, the DNA does this as well, so it seems to be something that is being done more often with Verizon's devices. I would expect the Note 2 to handle things in a similar way, and I would expect it to have reception that is similar to the Galaxy S3. Some people have reported reception issues with the S3, but I haven't experienced any. Reception hasn't been as constantly strong as Motorola devices typically are, but I've found the S3 to be on par with HTC devices, which is a vast improvement from previous Samsung devices (Galaxy Nexus, Stratosphere, Charge, Fascinate, etc). I was worried about the reception on the S3 before receiving it, but after using it since July, I'm not the least bit worried about the reception on the Note 2.

One way or another they are still getting you to pay full retail anyway over the 2 years lol. It's more like pay full now or it is a lease purchase that it becomes yours 2 years later.

I have had a bunch of Verizon devices and seems they always have some issues with radios. Granted I have been mostly lucky there I believe I had one where the antenna burned out after one day. But most have been stable where others also has problems. I would just say if you get one that has issues figure out out before 30 days and you still get a new phone after that you get refreb ones. It's like anything else there are always some that will break normally.

Yes they had issues with the switching but that is mostly cause new tech have to work out bugs but agree they did get better and stay on 3g when 4g is weak to save battery from switching back and forth. That killed me before at work with a weak connection always switching.
