I rooted my old rzr sometime back and when I went to use it I forgot my passcode.
Since the phone is rooted the normal screen factory hard reset doesnot function.
Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

Perform a Factory Data Reset (Device Powered Off) - DROID RAZR / RAZR MAXX by MOTOROLA

    [Device-Specific Instructions]

A factory data reset may help with a blank or frozen screen, apps crashing or freezing, keypad/touchscreen problems, can't hear, device making noises, can't make or receive calls and device won't sync.

***Perform a factory data reset only if absolutely necessary as it removes all data including:

    1) Google account,
    2) System and app data,
    3) App settings,
    4) Downloaded apps,
    5) Media (Music, pictures and videos, etc.)

    1) Ensure the device is powered off.

    2) Press and hold the Volume Up/Down buttons then press the Power button.
*When presented with the Boot Mode Selection Menu, release all buttons.

    3) Press the Volume Down button to tap Recovery then press the Volume Up button.

    4) From the Droid triage screen, press and hold the Volume Down button.
*Press and release the Volume Up button.
    *Release the Volume Down button.

    5) Select wipe data or Factory Reset.
*Utilize the volume keys to highlight and the Power button to select.
*Select Yes -- delete all user data.

    6) Data wipe may take several moments.
    *Select reboot system now.

    7) To setup the device after the reset has completed, refer to Initial Activation and Setup.

unless the bootloader is unlocked stock recovery will still work.
if you removed stock rom or stock apks, factory reset cannot restore missing files
