G1 to Get Android 2.0

    A somewhat still weak rumor over on Engadget Mobile has Android 2.0. (Android 2.0 officially coming to T-Mobile G1? -- Engadget)... and not via a hack and root, but rather as an OTA update.

    I find this interesting for one simple reason. The G1 was woefully underpowered. I can't help but wonder if they are actually able to do this with the G1, just how much room does the Droid have to grow? It would seem to me to be quite a long time before we hit some sort of ceiling with the Droid.
