I live in MS Outlook and have a few POP accounts. I got the Droid a couple of days ago and set up IMAP. I guess that works differently than regular POP. A few questions:
- With Yahoo mail I can just download everything from my inbox with one step. With G-Mail the headers get downloaded first, then I need to set them to be processed, then I have to download processed headers. Is that normal? Is there a one step process to do that.
- When I delete an e-mail from Outlook it just crosses it out. When I then download my in-box I guess that will delete the e-mail from g-mail and from the Droid?
- When reading through g-mail setup, it said NOT to save a copy of an e-mail in the send folder. I save all my send e-mails in the send folder; I can't really change that just for g-maill. What "bad" things will happen if I save all my send e-mails in the send folder.
- I read a lot of stuff on saving battery and not turning on syncing. Is "pushing" e-mail part of syncing?
