    Sir... can you please indicate
    1. What didn't work "before"
    2. What did you do?
    3. What did work "after"

Saying "That worked!" with no context makes it difficult to understand what problem you resolved, and how you resolved it.

While that is AWESOME for you (and as a fellow Droid owner I do love it when things work!!!)... it doesn't help other people to do what you did (#2) nor does it help establish an information base for others affected by the problem (#1) nor help the developers and software writers to figure out how to fix it (#3).

    Regards,

    Lost Ringtone/Notification sounds

This might be a n00b question, but I just rooted my phone and put on the SS 4.5 (which by the way is killer). When I went to reset my ringtones/notification sounds, I notice that my only option for the ringtone is "silent" and my only option for the notifications are the songs in the ringtone folder. Does anyone know how to reload the old 2.1 sounds, or at least point me in the direction of getting some of those "professional" sounding notifications that can go off at work without a boombox in my pocket?

I've heard of ringtone settings getting jumbled around after an upgrade (happened to me), but not disappearing.

Do you have tones on your SD Card? If so, do you have folders named /media/audio/[ringtones][notifications][alarms]?

Not sure why all the stock ones wouldn't appear. If you have root explorer or something similar, check the contents of the folders in /system/media/audio. Each one should have all the stock sounds in .ogg format.

I took a look on the SD Card, and I only have a /media/audio/notifications folder with one noise that facebook installed when I added that back to my phone. You did get me thinking though, that if I could find a dl of the original sounds for 2.2, I could then go and put them in the corresponding folders as you've outlined above. Do you know where I could find a zip file with the sounds?

Not on your sdcard, but on your phone:

    adb shell find /system/media/audio

That should list out a bunch of .ogg files - also, this seems to be a problem until after the first reboot ... are they still missing after a reboot?

Anyone else have problems with the Blue Energy theme for 4.5? I keep getting stuck on boot.

Oh hell, nevermind. 4.6 is available now.

    Proximitiy fix

    Chevy,
What was involved in the proximity sensor fix? I'd like to apply the fix to the lithium mod rom. The proximity problem seems to be an issue with every 2.2 rom (other than yours.) I don't think anyone understands the issue other than you. (the problem is definately when you tilt the phone horizontally.) PM me if needed.
