Don't know if anyone has found out a way to read core temps in froyo last I read nobody could do it. I downloaded an app called os monitor and it shows the cpu temp changing under a load

    Just letting you guys know.
I'm running the lastest froyo(to my knowledge) and a chevy medv1.2 kernel

I'm getting CPU temps sporodically using P3Droids 1200 lv 7 slot kernel. It will report accurately for a while and then it changes to -40 degrees. A couple reboots and it will report accurate temps again. I have the SetCPU widget displaying CPU temps but my profiles rely on the battery temps because I don't feel the CPU temp is reliable enough yet.

Give overclock.apk a shot. I'm using p3 1.2 ghz and it works flawlessly. I just put it in my sdcard though because like many other users having homescreen lag issues with setcpu i was having with overclock. Although not as advanced as setcpi it does its job for the most part.
its free go do osmonitor. Apk
