Is there a version of SPRecovery that will work with the FRG22D firmware and supports making a backup?
I was trying 0.99.3b and I assume it flashed correctly. But I don't see a backup option in the menu which is what I would assume the "Recovery-Only bit in the sbf's name is all about :)

Is the firmware still too new for more that what is available now?

I've used SPR since the beginning of this year. When I boot into recovery it shoes backup/restore, advance and simple backup, select backup name.

Perhaps I'm wrong but SPR has not been updated since it was developed and it's options are not changed due to a different OS.

I think there is some issue with recovery images on Froyo. I remember reading something about the recovery image being protected in some way when I began looking a rooting my phone earlier this month. But I don't remember the details or if it is even applicable to the Droid 1. I gave ROM Manager a try and it took a couple attempts to get the clockwork recovery to come up. So now I'm not even sure if the SPRecovery I tried flashing with RSD lite even took in the first place.

    Should be "backup/restore"
Did you follow the method in my signature?

Did this method and had no issues making a backup.
