If I flash a FRG01D based rom or any one earlier than the last ota, am I gonna get the ota notification and have to deal with that?

I wanna try Exodus I think its called and its based on cm6 and frg01d. I just don't wanna chance it.

    Btw I'm on a rooted D1

The old methods of blocking the OTA push don't work with the FRG22D push, IIRC. Feel free to give it a try, but if you start noticing drastically reduced battery life and update warnings, flash your backup. And if the ROM's code has been kept up to date it'll be FRG22D and 2.2.1-based since CyanogenMod has been 2.2.1 for over a month now in the nightlies.

Yes, and the full release of Cyanogenmod 6.0 is FRG22D based.
