Got 2 Dinc2's arriving tomorrow. I downloaded the manual from the HTC website ahead of time and it says to fully charge before using. I thought today's cell phone batteries had no memory and it didn't matter whether you fully charged it or not?

Did everyone else fully charge first or just use it and recharge when the initial charge ran out.

I was using mine from the moment I activated it. It got its full charge that night, and a little bit from the car charger.

I used mine fresh out of box.... also. Was about half charged and ran it.... almost dead. I will warn you battery life gets WAY better after a few days. I just let the battery run completely dead a couple times.
